In our Nursery, we believe in the power of play as a key tool for learning and exploration. Nursery students are cared for in a space designed to accommodate both active play and restful nap time, ensuring a smooth and nurturing experience throughout the day.
Meanwhile, our Pre-K students thrive in an environment that is heavily influenced by both Montessori and Waldorf philosophies. This environment encourages child-led learning, giving kids the freedom to explore, discover, and grow at their own pace.
We also recognize the importance of outdoor play in early childhood development. That’s why our program includes plenty of outdoor adventures, where children can safely run, jump, and explore the wonders of nature under careful supervision.
We understand that learning can sometimes get a bit messy, so we encourage our youngest Moonlighters to dress comfortably and bring extra clothes!
At this time, enrollment for this program is limited to siblings of students enrolled in our K–12 classes at Moonlight.

Johnson City – Our First Home
Moonlight Co-op first opened its doors in Johnson City in the fall of 2023, thanks to the generosity of Faith Fellowship Church. As our founding location, it has been the heart of our growing community and a space where students of all ages have come together to learn, connect, and thrive. With the continued support of our host church, we’ve been able to serve dozens of families and lay the foundation for the inclusive, academic-focused program Moonlight is known for.
